There is nothing quite like being in a crunch, and sometimes that means working late hours.  While other people are sitting at home sipping egg nog, I have been working at the office with our team, trying to finalize the trade show displays for January.  We have just a few more days before they need to be sent off to the printer or we will have to cancel our marketing for January, and the boss wouldn’t like that.

Unfortunately, we have had some difficulty coming to some sort of consensus as to how we want to portray ourselves.  There are some of the group that just wants to keep things how they have always been and use the same banner stands that we have been using for the past decade.  Don’t get me wrong, they were well done in their time, but you can tell they were made in the nineties – which doesn’t go well with portraying a progressive company.

There are others in the group that want to do something a little more exotic and expensive.  Most of their ideas hinge around having videos shown on big screen televisions, and make the video the focal point of our display.  I’m not too keen on the idea, but it might be something that we consider in the future.

We are mostly done, but we need to review the final designs before signing off on the project.  I just hope that we will be done by 3 AM – I have an early meeting at 7 AM and I would like some sleep before then.
