Furthering physical therapy education

ATSU, which is both a Midwestern and Southwestern Medical School, and Allied Health University is a school that my friend graduated from 2 years ago.  He got his degree in physical therapy and has thus far enjoyed a fruitful career.  He is also at the point in his life where has begun to look at schools for online health doctorate programs, more specifically a transitional DPT program, which is a doctorate of physical therapy.  The reasons for looking at the physical therapy program are obvious; he would go into what he knows and further his education at the same time.

When he started looking at specific programs for the Doctorate of Physical Therapy he was mostly concerned about the reputation of the school.  Once he found the reputation to be reputable and the accreditations intact, he started to look for online degree/certificate programs.  He did his research and ended back up at ATSU which was his undergrad college.  He liked the curriculum and the ability to be flexible in his schooling.  ATSU was the way to go for him.  I, personally think that once you find something that works for you and it is something that will help you in the future, you should definitely go after it.

Physical therapy is a great career. Every time I look through the classifies, I see ads for Physical Therapists. I’m sure they make great money, too.

It’s great that your friend followed his dreams and ended up in a great DPT program that worked for him. I’m glad it had the flexibility he needed in order to be successful.
