Monday is halfway over, and man this Monday has been dragging on!  One of my favorite ways to celebrate a case of the Mondays is to browse YouTube for funny videos to brighten my mood.

Today I found several good ones, and I’m feeling much better.  I thought I’d share my favorite, a parody commercial for a fake hearing aid:

Did you catch the Fargo clip, the part where he’s “working in the backyard”?  I also love the part where the girl walking on the beach in her bikini overhears the other girls talking about her body, and smiles — and the kid dressed up in a Halo costume, that was a good one too!

I also love how it looks “just like a bluetooth adapter.”  Of course you can totally tell that’s what it is.  I never thought about how dumb people look when they walk around with those things in their ears all the time — it looks like a Borg costume off of Star Trek, or something like that.

Disclaimer: It’s amusing to poke fun at the dumb commercials you see on TV, but don’t forget it’s the commercials we’re poking fun at, not the people who actually wear hearing aids.  It’s really no different than wearing glasses or contacts, if you think about it — just another device to help us function at our best!
