If you’ve ever watched old movies dating back to the 1970’s, you know that there are a lot of things from that era that are probably better left in that era. There were a lot of cheesy material things coming out of the seventies that we don’t need back on the market today. But there were actually also some really interesting things that came out of the seventies - some of which are still of use today.

Here are just a few cool things from that era:

• Airsoft. This is a military-style game that is similar to paintball but which uses actual military-style weapons like kwa guns and the tokyo marui. People still play this today.
• Massive Computers. Yes, it’s true; computers are better today than they were back in the 1970’s. However, the design of the huge computers that were built at that time was pretty cool and it paved the way for what we have today.
• Pontiac TransAm. This is one of the coolest cars ever made. Okay, technically it was made in 1969 but anyone who was around in 1969 knows that it was practically the 1970s already by that year.

We can probably leave behind a lot of the things from the seventies (like bell bottoms and bad hairdos) but there were some cool things worth taking a look back at now and then.
