Ever since I watched the original Dawn of the Dead movie several years ago, I have been hooked on zombie movies.  I don’t know what it is, but surviving that sort of tragedy (as morbid as it would be) is definitely a story that interests me.

So, I have decided that watching the movies and playing the video games is not quite enough, and that I should make my own zombie movie.  I know that it will be a big undertaking and very low budget, but I figure that it will be really cool when it is done.

The first step to making the movie was to create some illustrations of the scenes we are going to film.  Thankfully I do have a little artistic talent and can even manage to draw people with some detail.  I bought some poster board to layout the scenes, and it took probably ten hours to draw everything out.

I have already found a couple of willing actors for the movie, and I think I might have found a film and video cameraman that is willing to help us with our production.  Things are really coming together and I am hoping that we will be able to start shooting on the weekend – I bet it will be fun!
