With all the hustle and bustle around the house over the last week, I finally have the chance to take a break.  I often wonder why we “do” Christmas the way we do it, since it is so very stressful, but at least it is over now for another year.  Yes, it is time for me to rest and relax for a change.

Even though I was going to curl up to watch a movie, I can’t help but see the stack of newspapers that I haven’t read staring back at me.  I wish I could let it go, but I paid for them, so I need to read them.

Looking through the first few, there was little that caught my eye.  Let’s face it, old news isn’t very exciting.  Some of the stories that I read in the paper I saw on Twitter already, so it was old and uninteresting.  I was a little sad too that I missed a sale on the airsoft gun that I have wanted for the last year, but I am sure that it will go on sale again, right?

Well, maybe I’ll skim the rest of the pile and hopefully find something worth reading.  Or, maybe I should go shovel the driveway.  Hmmm….. maybe I’ll go have a nap instead – that sounds like fun.
