Shifting To One of the Fastest Growing Jobs

I have worked for four years as a bank teller. While for some people, this is a nice and clean job sitting inside an air-conditioned hall, I found that the job gets boring year after year.

I want to get into the medical field. And I know that I have to start from scratch because I have no medical profession exposure.

I read from a career website that a medical assistant job is one of the fastest growing jobs and will continue to be in top demand until the year 2012. This is because many countries, especially the rich ones have aging populations and the advancement of technology in the medical field is very fast.

My friend from Arizona recommended me to Sanford Brown Institute Dallas saying several of his friends have graduated from short term medical courses and are now getting high paying jobs. I visited the institute’s website and watched their video presentation. Indeed, there are even courses that can be finished in a few months.

I will email the admissions department to get more information about Dallas medical assistant courses. And when I finish, I will want to work in Dallas too. I read that with oil boom in Texas, opportunities will be around for my new career too.
