To do this, you’ll need to have some high quality content on your site. After all, major websites aren’t going to want to jeopardize their name by linking to you if you don’t have something good to offer to heir readers. 

Once you’ve got the good content, you simply need to make big websites aware of that content. You can issue press releases, network with people at major websites and participate in the forums of big sites to begin getting this attention. You should be able to garner some one-way links in this manner and increase link popularity in just a short time.
