I know, I know…we all feel a certain way about telemarketers.  They certainly have gotten a bad rap, and I don’t mean because it’s wholly undeserved.  I mean because we’ve grown to hate them so much that we really don’t stop to think that this is a legitimate marketing strategy that has done a lot not to be so annoying anymore, and that has a very real person just trying to make a living on the other end of the line.

Outsource telemarketing is an important tool to many companies that simply want to get the word out without expensive television commercials.  Just think what you would do:  the newspaper is dying, no one listens to radio and things can get buried in the internet if you’re not careful.  Even signage is strictly controlled anymore.  Sales outsourcing is the only vital link many companies have to the consumers.

 So stop for a moment; listen to the person on the other end of the line.  Be kind.  It’s just some company praying for your business, and some human being trying to earn a paycheck.  Hey, if politicians can use the phones during campaigns, why can’t they?  Even my church here in Castle Rock-and even the schools!-use this strategy.
