Of the many designs available, cabin house plans can offer a small square footage perfect for vacation getaway homes. At approximately one thousand square feet or less, their single story efficient design makes them affordable and easy to maintain both inside and out. A choice of outer designs can carry the influence of wherever the cabin happens to be located. While some prefer the log cabin look for their mountain getaway, others like the stucco look for their beachfront getaway. They can also be used as a place to stay during seasonal hunting trips as well as lake front retreats for fishing trips.
A garage floor plan may or may not be included with a cabin house design. Because of the locations they are commonly found in, it is fairly unusual to find such designs built atop basements. With smaller house plans, a cabin can be brought into fruition in a relatively short amount of time. Even with small dimensions, the structures are known for being brilliantly sturdy and can come with such things as front porches, metal roofs and fireplaces. Though they have a rustic appeal, a cabin house plan can offer all the modern amenities a homeowner wants.
