After getting a pay raise at my job, I thought it was time to give myself a treat.  For most of my life, we have been scrimping by, and passing up on things that we truly wanted like a nice car and a larger home.  I guess we decided that making the sacrifice of living within our means would pay off in the end, and it did when we finished paying off just last year.  All those years of sacrifice were worth it.

But after getting the raise, I knew that we finally had the opportunity to look at some Tampa FL homes for sale that we actually wanted and were not necessarily practical.  Okay, I couldn’t just let logic fly out the window or anything, but this purchase was going to be something I wanted, not just something I needed.

We picked out a couple of homes that looked really good and then we decided that the next step was to find some good representation for us, and someone that would “tell us how it is” instead of just telling us what we wanted to hear.

One of our good friends suggested a Tampa realty firm that they had used with good success and we are going down there later this afternoon to see if they will represent our interests.  Based on what Mike told us, it should be easy for us to find a good realtor there.
