Ever since I left Steven some four years ago, it has been a struggle to find my soul mate.  Sure, I thought that Steven was it, but after his little fling with his secretary, things became clear – he just wasn’t the man for me.

Since then, I have been going out on a number of dates to keep my options open and maybe stumble on someone I could start a new life with.  Though I have been looking for romance, I haven’t tried to force anything, and if the universe decides to give me someone to spend the rest of my life with, well I won’t complain.

So I am heading off to my lunch date today with a potential suitor that happens to be a Tampa criminal attorney.  It will be my first criminal lawyer that I have dated and I am sure it will go much better than the date I had with a divorce lawyer (something didn’t seem right dating someone that specializes in breaking marriages up).  We really seemed to click during our conversations online, so I am hoping that it works out the same in real life.

I don’t want to jinx anything, so I am going into this date with an open mind – wish me luck!
