The Northeast is Cold – My Pool is Not
By karen in Society | 0 comments
The Northeast can get downright chilly in the winter time. It is part of what we are used to. We handle the weather and are rewarded with beautiful summers and extraordinary autumns. That doesn’t mean that I haven’t taken full advantage of the Connecticut pool builders in my area to start creating the ideal oasis in my backyard where I can enjoy the warmth and cool water of summer time no matter how cold it is outside. That’s right – an indoor pool with all the amenities of an outdoor pool.
At first, I called a dozen different Hartford pool builders and New Haven pool builders, but eventually I ended up needing to go slightly out of my comfort area (in terms of contractors) to find someone who truly specializes in putting in hybrid pools. The best part was that it really didn’t cost that much more than a regular pool in the ground. Because it was slightly elevated and the ground was already torn up once before for a patio that never go completed, they cut some cost off the estimate and bam, there was my indoor pool – sweet winter time warmth.
