Bought the Wrong Memory Card

Now, if you were to ask anyone about how tech savvy I am, most people will just laugh.  I guess it goes with my age, but when it comes to technology, I am not so good.  I am more comfortable with using a pen and paper to write, and I love using 35mm film.  Personally, I really feel that I belong in the past.

But my best friend Jill thought otherwise.  She bought me a digital camera for my birthday, and I couldn’t really say no to her.  She suggested it would be a good way for me to get caught up with the times and that it would save me a lot of money.  I couldn’t say no – I had to give it a try.

Well, I had my first problem with my camera when I realized it could only take eight pictures.  I am a little more trigger happy than that, so I went down to the corner store to get one of those secure digital SD memory cards that I saw on TV.  I asked the clerk for what I wanted, and I bought it there on the spot.

When I took it home and tried to put it in the camera, it sure seemed to be a lot harder than I expected.  Ten minutes of trying is what it took for me to conclude that it didn’t fit.  Great… another great moment with me and technology.

If the metal gold prongs are damaged or the plastic is cracked you quessed it.
Otherwise format the card & have fun.
