Two years ago when I started with the small appliance repair company that I work for, I was really not sure if it was a smart choice.  Having never worked for a small business, I really questioned as to whether or not they would be able to provide me with long term stable employment.  I had a family to feed and I hoped that I wasn’t making the worst decision of my life.

But after these past two years, I realize that I did make a smart choice.  I am earning more than a would with a larger company and there is more flexibility if you need to have a day off because of sickness or family issues.  In fact, I would say that this has been one of the best companies that I have worked for, and I can’t see myself going anywhere anytime soon.

My kids love it too.  In fact, Josh can’t stop talking about Christmas and how we are going to go swimming with dolphins.  The best part is that I am not paying for it – it is the Christmas bonus this year.  They are flying all the staff and their families down south to swim with dolphins in the Caribbean free of charge.

I just can’t wait to go!
